Elengy is upgrading their LNG multimodal facilities in Fos Marseille (Fos Tonkin and Fos Cavaou) to supply LNG as fuel to ship and truck users and to supply to satellite stations along the Mediterranean coast.
Before the construction phase, engineering studies have been carried out in order to evaluate the main adaptations needed in Fos Tonkin and Fos Cavaou LNG terminals to be able to deliver LNG for truck-to-ships bunkering, ship-to-ship bunkering and LNG fuelling stations.
Operational, functional and risk analysis studies have been conducted by the Port of Marseille to complete the engineering studies.
Once the studies will be completed, the following infrastructures will be built in Fos Cavaou:
- Open access small scale LNG facilities
- Multimodal facilities
Aiming to share the main results of the work done and hoping that other companies can learn from the GAINN4MOS experience, an executive summary and brief summary video of the engineering projects and works will be available in this section of the website soon.
